Kehsett Woman Dies Suddenly; Funeral Friday Funeral services for Mrs, Alfred Anderson, 74, will be held Friday at 1:30 p. m. at Bride's funeral home at Manly and at 2 p. m. at the Elk Creek Lutheran church, the Rev.

Thor Sigmond officiating. Burial will be in Elk Creek cemetery. She died at her home in Kensett Tuesday following a heart attack. Mrs, Anderson was born Feb. 10, 1877, one of 8 children of Mr.

and Mrs. Levor Brunsvold. She lived her entire life in Worth county. She was baptized and confirmed in the Elk Creek Lutheran church at Kensett. On April 8, 1903, she was married to Alfred Anderson at Kensett.

They made their home on a farm in Brooklield township until 1948 when they retired and moved to Kensett. Survivors include the husband and 4 children, Alvin and Morris, Mrs. Alvin Johnson and Mrs. Phillip Sigmond, also two sisters, Mrs. E.

Swea City--Friends here have received word of the birth of a son May 2 to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Johnson of Long Beach, N. Y. Mrs.

Johnson is the former Mary Jane Lobb. Brilt--Mr. and Mrs. Howard Champion have returned to their home in Britt after spending the winter months in Arizona. Foptjoy--Mrs.

Bert Bradway ol Argyle, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson of Marshalltown and Maynard Bergen of Iowa Falls were recent visitors in the home of Mrs. Mabel Alverson. Forest City--Mrs.

Bruce Hayes and son Richard Amidon of Toledo, Iowa, visited with their daughter and sister, Mrs. Ed Lyons and family. Garner Mrs. Anna Williams and Mr. and Mrs.

Gus Pappas and son, Billie, drove to Waseca. to visit with relatives and friends. The Andrew home on East-Third street has been sold to 'Enyin L. Buck through the Mark Miller real estate office. St.

Ausgar--Dr. Elise Carlson of Santa Barbara, visited at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs, Rasmus Jorgenson. Mr. and Mrs.

Oscar Huffman and family of Traer visited their mother, Mrs. Marshall Huffman and family. Gtwdell--Mr. and Mrs. Corn Fitts of Marshall, visited relatives, the Newgords.

Thompson--Mr. and Mrs. Allan Peckham and daughters of Waterloo were recent visitors in the parental Charles Peckham home. Waucoma--Mr. and Mrs.

John Flynn and sons, Johnny and Michael, are moving to Neillsville, where Mr. Flynn will be employed in a hardware store. Thompson--Word has been received here of the birth of a son May 14 to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Maxson of Colorado Springs, Colo.

tittle Cedar--Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Elliott and Mr. and Mrs. Max Elliott left on a 3 weeks' trip through the southern states.

Waucoma--Philip U. Balk is building a two car garage at his home with a glassed in porch with a breezeway to the garage. Marble Hock--Mrs. Ruth Bartlett of Oakland, is visiting in the home of her parents, Mi 1 and Mrs. Will Wedeking.

Thompson--Mr. and Mrs. James Van Horn of Spencer were recent guests at the Mrs. Emma Fisher home. Wesley--Pvt.

John Carman, son of the August Garmans, is attending an engineering school at Field, Wichita Falls, for a 28 weeks' course. Stilson--T. J. Scott who spent the past two months in the home of his son Jesse Scott and family, has returned to his home in Paxton, 111. Wesley--Recent guests in the Alf Studer home were Gerald Studer.

and Mrs. Earnest Gerdes and sou of Woden and the Ed Downs and family. LaUtttr Mr. and Mrs. Max Brewster and children of Albia, Miss Lois Honold of Marshalltown and Mr, and Mrs.

Paul Honold and son Roger Honold were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Honold. Ackley--Mrs. Lyle Giese was taken to Rochester, where she will go through the Mayo clinic.

Her son, Marvin Giese, accompanied her. Ridfeway--Mr. and Mrs, Leo Puffer and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Haatvedt motored to Iowa City Tuesday to bring home Gilly Puffer who has been a patient in the children's hospital.

Thompson--Mrs. Ralph Schnebly attended a post nuptial shower for her niece, Mrs. Donald Schulz, nee Winona Schnebly, at the Methodist church at Hayfield. Chapin Bobbin Stayner of Twin Falls, Idaho, arrived for a visit with his grandmother, Mrs. Ella Stayner, and aunt, Miss Ruth Stayner.

Goodell Douglas Eckes, 3 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Eckes of Long Prairie, is staying with his uncle and aunt, the William H. Sheriffs while his mother is visiting his father, Pvt. Eckes at Camp Carson, Colo.

His 5 year old brother, Merlin, is staying with their grandparents, the Owen Neuh- rings, at Garner. Osage--Charlie Peterson, World war II veteran, was taken by ambulance to the Cedar Valley hospital, Charles City, Wednesday. Greene--Cpl. Norman Kleinschmidt of Fort Hood. arrived home on a 14-day furlough with, Ws parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Karl Kleiusehinidt. Mr. and Mrs.

W. H. Holbert of Indianapolis. and Mr. and Mrs.

Clifton Holbert and their son, Richard, of Austin, were in Leland this week! calling on relatives, including Mrs. W. P. Buren, Mrs. Margaret Dunbar, and the families of George and Francis Dunbar.

Osate Pfc. Harvard McLean, son of the Wilbur McLeans, is home for a 15-day furlough from Great Lakes, 111., where he has been at a naval school. LcUnd Mr. and Mrs. Dick Cobb of Hollandale were recent guests in the home of Mr.
